Lucknow, 18 October 2026: Precision Urology Hospital today
concluded the five-day Precision Practical Preparatory Programme (P4), held
from 14 to 18 October, to a grand success. The programme brought together
students preparing for the DrNB and MCh urology practical examinations.
Participants came from across India, mainly from the DrNB
programme, travelling to Lucknow from Bangalore, Gurgaon, New Delhi, Mumbai,
Chennai, Bhopal, Trichy, Nadiad, Vaishali and Vijayawada. Students attended
classes for 12 hours every day, from the first long case to the last
operative-steps viva.
The programme gave extensive coverage of the whole spectrum
of urology: 30 long cases, 15 pathology specimens, 24 radiology spotters, 24
instrument stations and 26 operative steps, followed by a full mock practical.
Every session was run in an exam-style setting, guided by Dr Shashikant Mishra
as main examiner, Dr Aditya PS Sengar as the other examiner, and a team of
supervisors.
Participants described it as an outstanding, well-organised
initiative that balanced clinical insights with practical learning. They
praised the clear concepts, interactive in-depth case discussions and focus on
preparing and presenting answers. Many said their apprehension about the
practical had gone, and they would recommend it to all exam-going students.
We thank the faculty, supervisors and every student for their energy and discipline, and wish all participants the very best for their examinations.
