About the Institute
The nomenclature of the qualification awarded by the National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) is "Doctorate of National Board” (DrNB) in Super specialty courses. Precision Urology Hospital (PUH), Lucknow is an NBEMS accredited super specialty training institute for DrNB Urology 3-year dedicated course. The hospital has been a training center for two DrNB Urology seats annually. This seat is recognized by the Government of India and included in the First Schedule of IMC (repealed) Act 1956 / NMC Act 2019. PUH hospital maintains definite compliance to deficiencies pointed out to the hospital/institute by NBEMS. These include 100 bedded single specialty hospital, minimum patient workload to support resident education, structured academic curricula with experienced teaching faculty, state of the art library with 24 hours online access, auditorium and clinical skills lab.

Eligibility Criteria
Postgraduate Degree:
- You need to have completed a postgraduate degree in General Surgery(/MS/DNB) from a recognized institution
- You must hold a provisional or permanent registration certificate issued by the Medical Council of India (MCI) or a State Medical Council (SMC).
Registration:
- You must be registered with the Medical Council of India (MCI) or a State Medical Council (SMC).
- Foreign nationals need to be registered with the medical authority of their country and may be eligible for temporary registration for the duration of their postdoctoral studies.
Enrolment Process and Stipend
- Candidates who are already registered in a MCh, or DrNB program through NEET-SS are not eligible to apply until they complete their current program.
- The NEET-SS is a single eligibility-cum-entrance examination for admission to DrNB super specialty courses.
- The exam is conducted once a year in a computer-based mode.
- Course Fees: The candidates are paid monthly basic stipend as prescribed by the NBEMS or basic stipend according to the respective State Government policy (whichever is higher).
- Accommodation and Meals: The hospital assists fellows with arrangements for food and lodging, which are managed by a third party and paid for separately by the candidate (not included in the course fee).
