The inhouse food services of PUH are housed at the Pushplata Cafeteria which is situated on the ground floor of the hospital. To attend to the patients’ dietary needs as well as cater to the different taste requirements of our other patrons, we have two separate kitchen wings- one only for IPD patients and one for our other patrons. Both the kitchens and cafeteria are managed by a full-time dietician supported by a team of area specific in-charges, cooks, delivery attendants, and cleaning staff. We do not compromise on the quality of food that is served and pay equal attention to every patient at every step. Our PUH Dietician overseas the entire eco-system related to Dietetics & Nutrition in adherence to the RDA & NABH quality guidelines. This includes-
Diet preparation

Out-patient Services : The Dietary department has an active OPD consultation schedule and offers professional Dietetics & Nutrition services. Out patients include those who are either referred by PUH doctors or walk-in patients seeking nutritional advice.
In-patient services : Every in-patient receives a daily visit from the dietician. Nutrition is planned and provided in a collaborative manner. The dietician checks the dietary needs of each patient with the treating doctor and plans the diet after taking the patient’s food habits into consideration.
