On 5th November 2024, Dr Gyvi Gaurav, Consultant Urologist & Head of Uro-oncology at Precision Urology Hospital, was invited by the national broadcaster- Doordarshan (Uttar Pradesh)- to share his expert opinion on bladder cancer.  Under the aegis of their health awareness program “सेहत आपकी”, this episode was dedicated to Bladder Cancer and the ways to address the issues surrounding it.

Dr Gaurav emphasized that awareness of the disease and its treatment options is the first step in early and effective management of cancers and preventing their spread. He highlighted the role of tobacco cessation and other strategies to reduce the risk of developing bladder cancer. The episode ended with a Q&A segment where queries came in from not just Uttar Pradesh, but also from other parts of the country like Madhya Pradesh and Tamil Nadu!
