Dr Shashikant Mishra was awarded Prof. SN Mathur award for excellence and contribution to humanity services at GEMSCON 2024 held at Kanpur on 28th December 2024. This award named after Dr SN Mathur (Retired Head of the department, Pediatrics) is given to students passed out from GSVM Medical college who have excelled in their specialty. Dr Mishra has 25 years of clinical experience in the field of urology and is a pioneer of minimally invasive laparoscopic urology operations in state of Uttar Pradesh.
